postponed indefinitely

July 4th, 2005 by epoyz

this is great, only while it lasts though. bet they’re probably thinking of other ways of screwing us over that’s not oh so blatant we’ll only be scratching our heads while bending over…”oh, oh-kay…”

ganda lang talaga ng timing ng apology ni glo. at least naurong ng ilan pang sandali ang VAT bago tayo duguin..

caught bits of “the last samurai” on hbo while having dinner (chicken and corn soup and tostitos.. ok pala yun pag tinatamad ka magluto talaga..) and remembered how great the swordfight scenes were. especially the one where mr. other-half-of-tomkat was ambushed and he sliced and diced four (or were there five?) deceptively inept swordfighters in seconds. remember that? dude even had to replay what just happened in the last 15 seconds in his mind before beheading the last goon. he was like “damn. that WAS sick, what i just did.”. it was all just “MMM-MWAhhh!! stewed to a perfection!!”.

hiroyuki sanada displaying skillz: dope. sword and fan? o-ha? nice.

and ken watanabe…man, why again didn’t he win an oscar for this? dude was really calm but was just AMPED. IN-tense. his face does almost all of the acting and he was just gangsta in this one. not sure about his gig as ra’s al-ghul but he kicked it in this movie.

how about the sexual tension in that scene where tom was being dressed in armor by taka? grrrr–ouch. betcha tom wanted to make a small adjustment before getting on his horse, huh?

show of hands : anyone else chuckled at the ending of war of the worlds? just me? okay..

it’s also a good break that the aliens weren’t so organized in their attack, no? synchronization? what?

but all in all it is a great watch. wouldn’t see it three times like i did batman begins, though.

game 2 of smb vs. tnt for the chip last night was entertaining. not a fan of either team, but i was for smb last night because they got behind by 20, and honeycutt was shimmying me into changing the channel everytime he makes a shot. then they stormed back and went 2 up with 6 seconds left. that’s when i felt bad for tnt and rooted for them to hit one back. (it was also largely to the fact that danny ildefonso was the one who hit the go-ahead basket, and i nearly hurled when i saw him thumping his chest in celebration…weh..choker..let’s see you do that against my boys next conference..). vic pablo had the chance to tie it with two freebies, missed the first one, had to miss the second and asi blew his follow-up with a rushed shot and… well, all that time i spent watching that game and all i got is this weird feeling. sports is cruel. but you just have to be there for the love.

ok, i think i’m sleepy enough to stop doing this now..
